About
I have lived in the Dun Laoghaire area for the past 40 years and I love to paint the changing seascapes that surround me. For such a suburban area, I am fortunate to have the sea at my doorstep and also the beautiful landscapes of nearby Co Wicklow.
Figurative work is my other passion and I enjoy life drawing to keep the eye in, which is very beneficial for drawing skills and aids observation of posture and gesture of the human figure. I paint in oil and watercolour from life and photographs.
